I'm so close to the weekend I can almost taste it. :)
Yesterday, Sabrina stopped by to say hi 'cause she has reading week now and she was visiting a friend who lives in the same residence as I do. It was good to see her again; it's actually been 6 months since I last did...the week before school started in September, actually...it's kind of funny considering I used to see her every day during high school. Hmm. Well, it's always nice to see friends, especially ones you haven't seen/been around recently.
Anyway...I'm a little tired and a little hungry, so I'm gonna go for now. Hope everyone's doing well and has a great weekend.
Okay, well...this, again, probably won't be that interesting to all you normal people out there (I don't know which ones of you all are normal, per se, but I have to know some normal people, don't I..?), but my mom just bought the Angel Season 1 DVDs and the LOTR: FOTR Platinum Series Extended Edition DVDs. *big grin, excited pseudo-dance of joy*
...Of course...I don't actually have time to watch any DVDs, which would actually be the purpose of buying them in the first place, but let me tell ya, the next long break I have coming up (er, that would probably be at the end of the school year...after exams...*shudder*), I've got A LOT of stuff to watch... :)
Oh, and ooh! I know this is exciting to no one but me, but this is what the Buffy Season 4 DVD set is going to look like when it's released on June 10:
Neato, eh? *sighs* Don't give me that look. You know I'm...quirky.

Hmmph. Now my mom tells me she didn't actually buy LOTR yet...I'm not even sure she knows what the DVD set looks like b/c there are so many different ones...ah well. Will have it eventually...
Oh God...Reading Week is so over. Man, that was short...but then, I knew it would be.
Went to look at some condos today because, well, my parents have planned for a while now to move once both of us kids were off to university. They've actually put our house up for sale on the real estate market (as of some time today) and I'm really not very sure yet how I feel about possibly moving sometime soon (or not so soon, depending). I've lived here since I was 6 years old...and my house is so close to Suzy Q's...*frowns* Trying to talk her into moving with us somehow, to like the same area, but I don't think she's moving anytime soon...
I don't know if I want to move. Maybe. But I really like our house. And that's what it is -- ours. It'd be weird to call somewhere else home and let other people live in our house. Beyond weird.
Anyway, I'm a little tired right now and as always I have some work that needs to be done, so that's all for now. Hope everyone (except for any Western people) had a really good Reading Week!
Took my driving road test this morning at 11:15. Passed. Am very relieved that that's done. :) Will never ever let my driver's license expire EVER. Never taking another road test again if I can help it. :) Heheh. I think the graduated licensing system we have here is a good idea, but it has been a bloody pain... :)
Movie yesterday (How To Lose A Guy...) was cute. :) Everyone go watch it. You know, if you've seen LOTR already, that is. *grins* I know I know, I'm a freak...don't have to tell me...
Anyway I'm pretty tired right now but I hope everyone who has Reading Week right now is enjoying him/herself and maybe I'll even get to see some of you, which would be nice. :) If not, though...it would also be a good time to catch up on some sleep. Oh, right, and that work that needs to be done....Hmmmrph. Having work to do isn't all that fun. Ohhh well. Ttyas!
No, really, I appreciate getting a week off, but I'm sure it'll be too short or I won't make good use of my time off and it'll all be over before I know it...but I am glad to have this little break. Last couple of weeks have been so long.
The weather is crappy. Winter's not normally this cold, is it? Or this long? *shrugs* Well, I guess this is what I get for living in Canada...it's not like I'm in Hawaii... *thoughts drift to sunny days in Hawaii*
Err...where was I? Ah yes. The weather's crappy. Meh. Oh well. Going shopping and watching How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days; should be fun. Probably won't get to watch LOTR again any time soon....I GUESS I can wait to watch it again....I guess....I can handle it...reallly..... *looks a little like an addict who just ran out of crack* Hehe. J/k. It's all good. I don't really NEED to watch it again or anything. Already spent 6 hours of my life in theaters watching the damned movie, anyway.
Hi y'all, still pretty busy this week but it's been a while since I last updated so I figured I should. :)
This week: Calc quiz on Thursday. Blah. English essay due Friday. Blaaah.
Anyway, who's gonna be around in good ol' T.O. next week? You know Toronto's the best. Don't know why all you people left... ;) Well, whoever's gonna be around, let me know...
And right now I'm entertaining the idea of watching LOTR: TTT again only as a very ridiculous notion. UNLESS, of course, there is actually someone silly enough to want to watch it (again)? 'Cause THAT would mean that the very ridiculous notion (and I do admit that that is what it is) would turn into a plausible plan and you know, I wouldn't really be opposed to that...
But, of course, if this (going to see it again...maybe on IMAX!) just stays what it is -- a ridiculous idea that'd never lift off the ground -- that'll be okay, too, and I'll just wait 'til the movie comes out on DVD circa June 2003... *grins*
Anyway, ttyas and all the best. :)
(p.s. Eht Hcaeb emac tuo ni sretaeht 3 sraey oga yadot. :) that's written that way to discourage most of the teasing...)
(p.p.s. Season 1 of Angel is out on DVD today. Woo. :) )
Hey,
Just wanted to say that I've got 3 tests this week (first one is today - Accounting) so I'm unfortunately going to be at least slightly incommunicado for a while (hopefully) - so if it seems like I'm not around much....I probably won't be, and that's why. Sorry for those people who I owe e-mails to. I want to answer them, honestly I do, but alas, I'm going to have next to zero time to do it anytime soon.
Anyway, gotta go study some more; hope you are all well.
Do I happen to have an mp3 of a song that you want? Check my list here and see if there's anything you need. Send me your e-mail address and state the song you want and I'll send the mp3 to you using YouSendIt.com, SendThisFile.com or SendSpace. :)
Music I need
There are the mp3s I'm looking for. If you have any of these and wouldn't mind sharing it with me, please use YouSendIt.com, SendThisFile.com or SendSpace to send it to me at verbatim119[at]gmail.com. Thanks much! :D
